Dear Reader,
Hi, I’m Melissa.
I’m excited to be starting a new chapter in
my career in administration. While I’m new to the admin
world, I bring with me many years of experience in retail
management, where I developed a wide range of skills
that I know will be valuable in my new role.
Working in retail management taught me the importance
of being organised, approachable and adaptable, as well
as how to communicate with all different types of people.
I’ve always enjoyed helping others, solving problems and
creating a welcoming experience, and I’m looking forward
to bringing those skills into my administration role.
I was raised in Bundaberg and have worked here for most
of my life, and I haven’t found a career I love more. Even
on the toughest days, I try to remember the battles my
clients face and see it as my purpose to be a strong pillar
of support they can lean on.
A bit about me, outside of work I love spending quality
time with my family and enjoying the simple things in life. I
especially enjoy walking along the beach, soaking up the
fresh air and sunshine, and taking some time to unwind.
When I’m not outdoors, you’ll often find me relaxing with a
good book. I’m always happy to meet new people, learn
new things, and bring a positive attitude to everything I do.
I’m looking forward to meeting everyone, getting to know
you all and being part of the team. I’m always happy to
help wherever I can, so please feel free to come and say
