Dear reader,
Hi, my name is Jacquie! I’m a compassionate and experienced support worker who takes pride in offering thoughtful, individualised care. With a mature outlook and a gentle nature, I’ve spent several years living and working in the Bundaberg region, where I’ve built strong connections within the community.
Supporting people of all abilities is something I find incredibly rewarding. I focus on building trust and understanding with each person I work alongside, tailoring my support to suit their needs, routines, and personal goals. Whether I’m encouraging someone to try something new, helping them grow in independence, or simply offering a steady hand when it’s needed most I’m there with empathy, patience, and purpose.
Over the years, I’ve gained experience in both emotional and physical support, and I genuinely enjoy seeing people grow in confidence and capability. I’m passionate about helping individuals develop skills, reach their plan goals, and lead lives filled with dignity, purpose, and joy.
Outside of work, I love spending time in the garden especially caring for my orchids and enjoy horse riding, painting, and the occasional adventure searching for rare opals. These hobbies keep me inspired, grounded, and connected to the beauty of nature
