Dear Reader,
My Name is Haylee! I’ve always been someone who enjoys
helping others, and that’s a big part of what drew me to support
work. I believe good support is about more than simply being
there, it’s about building trust, creating a comfortable
environment, and getting to know each person as an individual.
I want the people I support to feel heard, respected and
confident in making their own choices. Everyone has different
goals, routines and things that are important to them, so I take
the time to understand what works best for each person.
Whether that means helping with everyday tasks, working
towards a goal, or simply getting out and enjoying the
community, I’m there to provide encouragement and support
along the way.
A Little About Me
Outside of work, I’m a very active person and you’ll usually find
me at the gym or at the beach. I enjoy having a good routine,
staying active and making the most of my free time.
Family is also a huge part of my life. I’m very close with my family
and love spending time with them whenever I can. My interest in
support work has also come from personal experiences
supporting people with different abilities in my own life. Those
experiences have shown me just how much of a difference
My Experience
I’m comfortable working with people who have a range of
needs and understand that support needs to be flexible
depending on the individual. I have experience and knowledge
in areas including:
- Supporting individuals with diverse abilities
- Behaviour support and positive engagement
- Community access and participation
- Encouraging independence and confidence
- Building positive and respectful relationships
My Qualifications & Checks
I maintain the required checks and training to ensure I can
provide safe and reliable support, including:
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
I’d love the opportunity to meet you and have a chat to see if
we would be a good fit. I bring a positive attitude, plenty of
energy and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of
the people I support.
Warm Regards
Haylee
