Dear reader,
I’m Georgia, and my approach to support work is centered on building genuine connections. I trust and respect the unique paths people have traveled to create their stories. It’s a privilege to be a part of their story now and help them live their lives on their own terms. Through my experiences caring for my grandparents and babysitting, I’ve developed a natural ability to form positive relationships. Taking pride in helping people connect with their community and loved ones, this work is incredibly rewarding and has taught me a great deal about patience, empathy, and understanding.
Having been raised in Bundaberg, it’s where I’ve spent the majority of my working life, and honestly, I love it here. Even when a day is challenging, I find strength in remembering the resilience of the people I support, and I see it as my purpose to be a dependable source of strength for them.
A Bit About Me
When I’m not working, I’m often busy pursuing my hobbies and studies. I am currently training to become a pilot and have a great passion for all things travel and adventure. I also love fitness and bodybuilding and believe in a well-balanced, active life. I enjoy a good action movie or a binge-worthy TV show, especially when it involves true crime!
For my downtime, I love to get lost in a good challenge, whether it’s building with Lego or completing an intricate puzzle. I also have a great deal of experience with cooking and cleaning, skills I have learned from caring for my grandparents. My job is a daily gift that allows me to nurture others.
