Dear reader,
Hello! I’m Danni, a fun-loving nurturer who is passionate about helping others. With years of experience in both the aged care and disability sectors, I’ve learned that every person’s story is unique, and everyone deserves to be supported and cared for in their own way. Building warm, positive relationships has always come naturally to me, and I take pride in helping my clients create and maintain connections within their own lives. This work is both rewarding and challenging, and my past experiences have given me a great deal of patience, empathy, and understanding.
I was raised in Bundaberg and have worked here for the majority of my life, and I haven’t found a career I love more. Even on the toughest days, I try to remember the battles my clients face and see it as my purpose to be a strong pillar of support they can lean on.
A Bit About Me
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family and volunteering with youth. I also enjoy staying active, especially by going to local markets and live music events. My work as a support worker is driven by a deep belief in people’s choice and control, and I love being out in the community and seeing how inclusive and diverse it can be.
I also have a great passion for farming, especially working with animals (except chickens!). You can often find me enjoying a ride on my motorbike, or at home with a range of arts and crafts, including sewing. I’m a big believer in a well-balanced life, and I’m grateful for a career that allows me to nurture others every day
