About Amy

 Dear reader,

I am delighted to have the opportunity to engage with you and share a little bit about myself.

I am local to our hometown of Bundaberg and have lived here my whole life. My introduction to the industry started 13yrs ago when I had my son who was diagnosed with autism. Naturally out of motherhood and love for my son, my passion to work in the industry began.

I have always enjoyed working with people, building healthy relationships, developing friendships, instilling positive life values, meeting every need for everyone I work with and creating a supportive atmosphere where everyone can feel heard, seen and happy!

In my time outside of work I enjoy fishing, camping, water skiing and spending time with my family and friends.

I strive to be a motivating force behind meeting goals and building new skills. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to explore their interests and I actively work towards creating a safe and accessible environment.

Currently I have experience with:

  • Bipolar
  • Schizophrenia
  • Lower limb Amputations
  • Psychosocial disabilities
  • Intellectual impairment
  • ADHD/ADD
  • Autism Non-verbal
  • Down syndrome

Qualifications:

  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker screening Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR training
  • NDIS Worker Orientation
  • Currently furthering my studies to cert IV in disability support work

I would be delighted to attend a meeting and greet you and see if I may be the person for you!

Warmest Regards,

Amy
